PRE-SCHOOL
POLICIES
ADMISSION
Our
child care/pre-school program is open to children of all races,
nationalities, and religions.
The programs are developed especially for children ages two 1/2
to five years of age. Children not yet toilet trained are not
exempt from admission.
Medical Assessment: All children shall have the appropriate
immunizations against childhood diseases, including a TB. test PRIOR
to starting the program at the Teddy Bear Inn. Other important medical
information such as special problems and needs and prescribed
medications
must be on file with the Director.
REGISTRATION
Registration
for your child can begin at any time that we have an opening. If there
are not any openings, then you will have an option of placing your
child on a waiting list for future openings.
WITHDRAWAL
OR
REMOVAL
FROM
PROGRAM
The
Teddy Bear Inn requires two weeks notice if you withdraw your child
from the program.
Failure to notify the Director of this will result in your not
receiving credit for paid fees.
The
Teddy Bear Inn reserves the right to withdraw your child from the
program if it has been found that we can no longer meet your child's
needs or if there is a significant behavior problem that we are not
trained to deal with. This will be not only in the
best
interest of your child, but also for the other
children.
We, of course,
will work with you and your child in hopes that a withdrawal
will not happen.
